One next thing
Decide the one next thing. Capture what showed up. Close the evening, then look back on the week.
Early access — testers in now
Your calm daily OS.
Katana Personal is a private daily operating system. It gives you one next step, a guide that already knows your plate, and optional accountability with people you choose. Your life stays on this device until you decide otherwise.
By requesting access, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Katana Personal is how we take the same idea behind our business platform — one place to run the work, not ten disconnected apps — and give it to an individual.
Companies use Katana to run operations from a single hub. People use Katana Personal to run the day the same way: see what matters, take the next step, close the loop. Tasks, habits, health, and notes are there when you need them. They are not the product. The product is the day.
One next step today. A guide that can act. Friends only if you want them. Private on this device.
The loop
Katana Personal is built around a simple loop.
Decide the one next thing. Capture what showed up. Close the evening, then look back on the week.
A day guide that already sees your tasks, calendar, habits, and health signals. It can brief you, focus you, and draft small actions — so you are not chatting into a void.
Invite friends, share a plan, join a Circle, post a win. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it.
Stack Cut
Tasks in one app. Notes in another. Habits, fitness, wellness, friends — each a separate place to open. Paid or free DIY: pick your stack for an illustrative money and time comparison against Katana Personal. Not a guarantee of savings.
Personal Stack Cut

Method. Estimated scattered time = category activity averages (counted once per life area you cover) + a multi-app switch model of 5 minutes per extra app, capped at 36 minutes/day. Free DIY options use 25% more activity time. Katana is modeled as one app (~10–12 min/day), so the switch add-on is zero.
What the sources are — and are not. Linked studies report findings in their contexts (for example workplace app toggling, food-diary logging, ChatGPT visit length). We adapted those published averages into this calculator. They do not study Katana, do not endorse Katana, and do not prove that you will save a specific number of hours. Results here are illustrative marketing estimates — not a clinical study, audit, or guarantee.
Money figures are public US list prices (annual effective rate when that’s the common plan). Free DIY options are $0. Time figures are Katana’s illustrative model citing the sources above — not proven personal savings and not endorsed by those publishers. Katana Personal Free is $0 for the full private day loop. Plus at $9.99/mo is an early-access list estimate for the Accountability pack — final Plus pricing may change. Your habits, region, and stack will differ.
Ask
Ask is the accountability coach inside the day. It already sees your tasks, calendar, habits, and health — then offers chips you can tap, not a second inbox of advice.
The full private day loop with friends: Ask actions, Friends, Social, Circles boards, and the day / win cards you choose to share. Deeper coach includes three free asks a day.
The Accountability pack — deeper Ask coach beyond three a day, Circle challenges, and meal & label AI. Not a paywall on random chat. The loop stays free; Plus makes accountability feel alive.
Life
Fitness and Wellness live under Life. Train the split, log water and rest, glance at the week — then get back to the day.
Together
Friends, group streak boards, and the wins you choose to post. Nothing leaves this device unless you mean it.
When you need more room, Plan and Life are there: tasks, goals, habits, notes, and files; fitness, wellness, and a journal. Those modules feed the day. They do not replace it.
You can open a space with just a name. Everything lives on this device first — no account required to start.
From Today, Katana picks a next step from what is actually on your plate: an overdue task, something due soon, a habit still open. You capture in plain language (“Call Mom Friday 3pm”), confirm, and keep moving. In the evening you close the day. Once a week you get an honest review of what you actually did.
Ask sits inside that loop. Free covers the day and the chips; Plus is the Accountability pack when you want a deeper coach, Circle challenges, and meal & label AI.
If you connect cloud later, Together turns on. Circles are group streak boards — not a plans inbox. Plans is where friends send tasks and goals. A check-in is optional: only the win card you choose goes to friends or a Circle.
You can add Katana to your phone’s home screen and use it like an app. Save a copy of your space anytime so a cleared browser does not take the week with it.
Busy people who already have too many trackers. Anyone who wants a calmer day, not a fuller dashboard. Friends or a small group who want to stay accountable without turning life into a performance.
It is not a wiki. It is not an endless to-do list. Water, sleep, and workouts are signals inside the day — not the reason the product exists.
Katana’s core business is an operations platform for companies: one hub, modules that connect, a place where work, people, and follow-through live together. Katana Personal is the same heart, pointed at a person.
| In the business platform | In Katana Personal |
|---|---|
| Hub as mission control | Today as the day’s mission control |
| Modules that deepen when you need them | Plan and Life — depth, not the home story |
| Agents and automation that can act | Ask — a guide that drafts the next move |
| People, comms, and shared work | Together — friends, plans, Circles, only what you share |
| Org-scoped privacy and access | Private on this device until you opt into cloud |
We did not bolt a consumer app onto the brand. We built the personal product from the same belief: clarity beats clutter, the next step beats the long list, and nothing should leak unless you mean it.
Katana helps a company run. Katana Personal helps the people inside those companies — and everyone else — run their own day.
